2021#60 Leadership Award Winner, Cordelia Sherwood

2016 #60 Orono Award winner - Will Perry
Will is a wonderful representative of not only the Orono lacrosse team, but of the Orono community. Will always tries to make his teammates better while working as hard as he can to get better himself on the field. Off the field, Will does the same thing. Tries to make himself a better person while helping the people around him do so. Will has so much tenacity and grit and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. He has always been an informal leader and the boys look up to him. He is the type of kid that doesn't need the tag of "captain" or "leader," he just leads. That is exactly what Jake was: a leader. Some of the best leaders don't have a title or a tag, they just bring together a group of people and lead them to success. This is what coaches look for when choosing someone to represent their team, their community.

2014 #60 Orono Award winner - Jake Rosendahl
Jake Rosendahl has been chosen to have the honor to wear the #60 Jersey for the Orono Spartans. Jake is a captain for the 2014 lacrosse team. He is one of the hardest working young men around and a great team and community role model. He certainly has alot in common with the original #60 aside from just a name. Below are a few photos from the inaugural #60 ceremony that was held during pre-game of the season opener against Wayzata. Special thanks to Wayzata for being so supportive and for their excellent display of sportsmanship. Not to many dry eyes in house during this moment. Congrats to Jake Rosendahl on earning such a tremendous honor. We know you will wear that jersey with pride and will continue to play and lead in the spirit of Jake Anderson #60.
